Hours, Days, and Months of Operation

Monday - Friday from 8AM - 3 PM from June 10 - August 9.  (We are closed July 4)

You may select as many weeks as you need.  Registration is on a week-to-week basis.

Late Policy

Doors open at 8:00 AM, breakfast is available until 8:30.  Daily activities start promply at 8:30.  Your child must arrive by 8:30.  If a child is tardy more than 3 times, they will be dismissed from camp and unable to enroll for later weeks.  Your child must be picked up promptly by 3:00 PM.  We extend grace until 3:10.  If you arrive after 3:10, you will be charged a late fee of $1 per minute that must be paid the next morning or your child cannot be signed in.  If you know you will be running late, it is your responsibility to call and let the site coordinator know so we can work with you to avoid late fees.  More than (3) late pickups will result in your child being dismissed from camp and not eligible to enroll for later weeks.  IF you have not called, or we have not been able to contact you after 3:30, your child will be taken to the police department.
The same time frames apply for Extended Fun. Late fees start at 5:10 and later than 5:30, your child will be taken to the police department.

Eligibility, Enrollment and Attendance Procedures

Camp is open to children ages 6-13, or entering 1st grade - 8th grade.  Youth entering 9th-12th grade are able to attend FUSION leadership training and become a young camp leader.  A parent/guardian must agree to abide by the policies and procedures est forth and are encouraged to attend a parents meeting.
Camp fees must be paid the Thursday before each session in order for your child to attend. There are No Refunds or late enrollments in a session but you can sign up and pay weekly.

Meals and Food Service Practices

Meals are pre-packaged and are offered to every child.  We will encourage your child to try new foods and use the sharing table to place unopened items on.  Breakfast will always be a cold meal and is served from 8:00-8:30 AM.  Your child must arrive BEFORE 8:30 to eat breakfast.  Lunch is served in shifts from 12:00-1:30 PM and will consist of cold and hot meals throughout the week.  Your child is able to bring their own lunch, however; they cannot bring any soda, chips, snack cakes or candy.  We want to maintain a neutral environment and encourage healthy eating.

Medical Emergencies

In case of an emergency, 911 will be called and you will be notified.  Camp FUSE staff and volunteers will help with minor injuries such as scrapes, cuts, bruises, and head bumps requiring an ice pack.

You are responsible for dropping off and picking up your child each day.  If you decide that you want your child to walk home, you must inform the site coordinator on the morning that you sign your child in.  If you do not, your child will not be able to leave until they are picked up.  If your child walks each day, please sign our walking release form.

Water Activities

(Most) Friday's are our water activity days.  Child will participate in activities that use: water balloons, sprinklers and other small scale water items.  If they choose to not participate, they will be give the option for an alternative indoor activity but we do encourage everyone to participate if able.  On these days, please send your child with clothes to change into (it still must be in dress code) water shoes, sunscreen, or anything else they might need to wear.  We provide the activity, you provide the apparel!

Field Trips

All activities take place at 6301 Granbury Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76133.

There is a possibility of animals being on campus when we have guest career speakers like veterinarians, animal shelters, etc.  If you have an allergy, please let us know so your child will in the room at that time.

Parent Visitation

All parents or guardians must have completed volunteer training and orientation in order to visit Camp FUSE.  This is required because you will be around other children.  We welcome your participation as a volunteer!

Discipline and Guidance Practices

No physical discipline will ever be given to a child by any staff or volunteer at Camp FUSE.  We will redirect the child in their actions and if they cannot participate with the rest of the group, they will be given time out.  In the event that your child is unable to abide by camp rules, is being too disruptive or is causing harm to themselves, another child or adult, the parent or guardian will be contacted for immediate pickup of the child.  We will not tolerate disrespect to oneself or another person.  If the child must be picked up, they will not be able to return the next day and depending on the severity, they may be dismissed from camp and unable to enroll in future weeks.

Procedures for Release of Children

Children must be signed in upon arrival and signed out upon dismissal by an adult parent or guardian.  Because meals are open to the public, children who are not signed in will only be allowed to participate in meals but will have to leave campus immediately following meal service.

Children will participate in indoor and outdoor activities including but not limited to chapel, crafts, athletic games, non-athletic games, cooking, movies, career speakers, water activities, and more.  It is important that you talk to your child about participating in the activities as well as asking them about their day.  Chapel is required and is the basis of our program.

All children must have on closed toe shoes that allow for running and play.  NO FLIP FLOPS.  They also must wear a t-shirt, no tank tops or spaghetti string tops.  Very similar to school dress codes.

Procedures for Dispensing Medication

Medication will not be administered by any staff or volunteer at Camp FUSE.  If your child has need for an asthma pump or allergy pen, he/she will need to be able to self-administer in the case of an emergency.  We will be able to store these items if they are properly labeled.
